Sino-US Industrial Boiler Energy Efficiency Standard Seminar hosted by China Special Equipment Safety & Energy Saving Promotion Association and American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) was held in Beijing on September 14, 2015. Mr. Shou Binan, CSEI Vice President & Chief Engineer and over 40 representatives and experts from China and US governments, industry associations and enterprises attended this meeting.

Mr. Shou Binan made a special speech entitled China Industrial Boiler Thermal Performance Evaluation Method and Standard during the meeting. The two parties introduced the current situation of their industrial boiler energy efficiency standard, energy saving and emission reduction policy, practice and application respectively. The representatives present had deep discussion and communication on industrial boiler energy efficiency testing method and index.   

This seminar is conductive to further understanding of each other’s practices and current situation of industrial boiler energy saving, exploration of bilateral cooperation method and field, and lays foundation for greater achievement on the Sixth Sino-US Energy Efficiency Forum which will be held in Washington D.C. in October, 2015.
