CSEI held talks with ASME and NBBI at Dongguan International Conference Center, Guangdong on November 21st, Mr. Lin Shuqing, President of CSEI hosted this meeting. June Ling, Deputy Executive Director of ASME, John Burpee, Chairman of the board of NBBI and other representatives from above three organizations attended the meeting.

Three parties signed a memorandum of understanding in cooperation in 2004, aims to promote the technical exchanges and cooperation in the fields of codes, standards, conformity assessment, technical regulations, management personnel and inspectors training between China and America. Based on the spirit of the memorandum, it has achieved remarkable results since the dateline of signing this agreement which maintained high-level contact and cooperation in multiple areas among three parties.
