From July 29 to 30, the training session on pressure pipeline standards hosted by Pressure Piping Inspection Working Committee of China Association of Special Equipment Inspection (CASEI)  and Pressure Equipment Professional Committee of Chinese Society for Corrosion and Protection (CSCP) was held in Qingdao. More than 150 representatives from CASEI, Pressure Pipeline Inspection Working Committee and inspection agencies, Pipe China, petrochemical enterprises, municipal gas and other industries attended the meeting.

During the conference, the main experts who drafted the "Guideline for inspection of buried steel pipelines" , "Inspection and assessment of crossing and aerial crossing of buried steel pipelines" and "Pressure piping code--Industrial piping" introduced the content of the standards and the engineering application cases and the delegates exchanged opinions on the hot and difficult technical problems.  These standards are important supporting standards for safety technical specifications related to pressure pipelines such as “Periodical Inspection Regulation for Oil and Gas Pressure Periodical Inspection”, “Regulation for Industrial Pressure Piping” etc. . With strong professional guidance  for the practical work, the training analyzed the standards and explained the actual case, which will deepen the technical personnel’s understanding and is conducive to the implementation of the standards.
