On 14th October --- World Standard Day, standardization of administration of SAMR officially issued “the Decision on the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award of 2020”, the list of winners of the 2020 China Standard Innovation Contribution Award has been unveiled. A total of 2 scientific research achievements of CSEI were awarded.

The China Standard Innovation Contribution Award is established by the standardization of administration of SAMR and approved by the central government. Standardization of administration of SAMR is responsible for the organization of the selection and commendation of the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award, and establishes the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award leading group, the review committee, and the supervision committee. The China Standard Innovation Contribution Award includes standard project award, organization award and individual award, and is awarded once every two years.

The Standard Innovation Contribution Award result of 2020 has been reviewed by expert, publicized, and deliberated by the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award leading group, and approved by SAMR. A total of 60 standard projects were awarded the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award, 4 units won the organization award of the China Standard Innovation Contribution Award, 4 people won outstanding contribution Award of China Standard Innovation Contribution Award, and 3 people won the Outstanding Youth Award of China Standard Innovation Contribution Award. Seven standard projects including GB/T30582—2014 “Risk Based External Damage Inspection and Evaluation of Buried Steel Pipelines” won the first prize of the project award, and GB/T34019—2017 “Super High Pressure Vessels” won the second prize.
