During Oct. 28th to 29th, the forum of Refining & Petrochemicals World • China 2020, which is the most influential annual summit of refining and petrochemical industry in China, was held in Shanghai. Many industry experts and famous enterprises joined the meeting and had an in-depth exchange and discussion on hotspot and frontier issues such as re-structuring the future of petrochemical industry, petrochemical industry development trend of China in the 14th Five-Year Plan, digital refining and intelligent management of refining enterprises.

Petrochemical Inspection and Maintenance Technology Center of CSEI was invited to report in operation technology session with the topic of The Application of Risk and Reliability Technology in Petrochemical Equipment Inspection and Maintenance. The report described the role of risk and reliability technology in equipment long-term operation guarantee, and mainly introduced CSEI research results in recent years in the field of damage identification and reliability maintenance, as well as the risk and reliability analysis technical tools developed for the safe and stable operation of petrochemical equipment. Through the sharing of successful practice cases, the report received positive response of experts.
