On June 20th, CSEI and the Sinopec Procurement Management Department held the meeting on promoting the Epec stationary pressure vessel product quality evaluation standard in Nanjing, Jiangsu province of China. Lin Shuqing, chairman of the China Standardization Committee on Boilers and Pressure Vessels (CSCBPV) and the senior expert and deputy chief engineer of the Sinopec Procurement Management Department Xiong Jianxin, as well as about forty enterprises from all over the country such as China Petrochemical International (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., Yangzi Petrochemical Co. Ltd., Sinopec Nanjing Chemical Industries Co., Ltd., CFHI Nuclear Power and Petro-chemical Business Group, Nuclear Power and Petro-chemical Co. Ltd. of Erzhong (Deyang) Heavy Equipment Co., Ltd. joined the meeting.

The meeting introduced the basic situations of Epec E-commerce Co. Ltd., the product quality evaluation business mode based on the Epec standard system (ES), and the fifteen key standards issued on-line for quality evaluation of stationary pressure vessel products and parts, etc. As representatives, the CFHI Nuclear Power and Petro-chemical Business Group, China Petrochemical International (Nanjing) Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Jinmao Gangbao E-commerce Co. Ltd. and Qingdao Changlong Electricity Equipment Co. Ltd reported respectively. In the meeting, CSEI and the Sinopec Procurement Management Department answered in details to the questions regarding the confirmation of production guarantee capability evaluation items of the entrusted product quality evaluation, and the issuing of product performance test results, etc. about which the manufacturers concerned. 

This meeting was the first time to publicize the key standards for Epec stationary pressure vessel product quality evaluation. It aimed to help domestic pressure vessel manufacturers to understand Epec and its standard system, and enhance the influence of Chinese brands in the international market through creating high-quality products by referring to relevant product quality evaluation standards and expanding business domain by improving product quality.
