On July 9th, the seminar of domestic and foreign technology competition evaluation report in the field of public safety equipment was held in Beijing. More than 15 experts from 10 units, such as Science and Technology Management Department, Nondestructive Testing Technology Center of CSEI, and Xinxing Cathay International Emergency Industry Co., Ltd. attended the conference.

At the meeting, the staff of Science and Technology Management Department reported the summary compilation of the draft report on behalf of the drafting group, and discussed with the experts according to the structure and content of the draft, the boundary and classification of public safety equipment, and the relationship between the sub-field and other sub-fields of public safety.

As a new sub-field of public safety projects, the discussion of its boundaries, classification and development is of great significance for the development of public safety equipment as an independent field.

Finally, Mr. Lin shuqing, the Researcher of CSEI summed up the discussion of the meeting and arranged the next work plan for the compilation of domestic and foreign technology competition evaluation research report in the field of public safety equipment.
