The first workshop on overseas Manufacture Licensing of pressure pipeline components (pipes and valves) was held by International Division of CSEI in Shanghai on May 23. Over 30 participants from overseas manufacturers of pressure piping components (pipes and valves) in China attended the workshop.

According to The Notice for Pressure Special Equipment Manufacture Licensing Related Matters announced by SAMR in the beginning of 2019 (hereafter referred to as Notice), pressure pipeline components (pipes and valves) have been incorporated into the licensing catalogue of special equipment manufacturers for manufacturing special equipment abroad. At the meeting, international Division interpreted the Notice, Catalogue of licenses for special equipment manufacturers, Law on Safety of Special Equipment of the People’s Republic of China, and Regulations on Safety Supervision of Special Equipment, explained the licensing conditions and basic requirements of quality assurance management for pipes and valves according to the recently issued Regulation for Production and Filling Licensing of Special Equipment (TSG 07-2019), emphasized the overseas manufacture licensing application procedures. Finally, interactive explanations were made on the specific contents of on-site appraisal and evaluation.
