The municipal government of Jiaxing and China Special Equipment Inspection & Research Institute (CSEI) officially reached a strategic co-operation on March 5th, vice mayor Shen Xiaohong and Xie Tiejun, vice president of CSEI signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of both parties, the East China Base Project of CSEI was officially signed and settled in JiaXing Port.

The project is based on the principle of combining market orientation with government guidance, it relies on the abundant innovation resources and management experience of CSEI and the outstanding regional advantages and good environmental resources of Jiaxing. In order to create a special equipment inspection and testing demonstration base, which has the first-class technology, concept and application covering the Yangtze River Delta and leading the surrounding Hangzhou Bay.

The cooperation agreement sticks to the plan of the national inspection and testing high-tech service industry cluster zone surrounded by Hangzhou Bay in Jiaxing and focuses on in-depth cooperation in various aspects. First and foremost, to enlarge and extend the inspection and testing industry chain；secondly, to optimize the professional talent team；thirdly, to promote technology development and application of the special equipment inspection.

Next, the two sides will work closely and carry out all-round cooperation in innovation system for special equipment, technology transfer, standard lead and industrial cluster building to promote the development of special equipment industry in Jiaxing, which will accelerate a new round of high-quality development in Jiaxing Port.
