Special equipment law and regulation system construction seminar was held in Beijing on Oct. 31, 2017. Officials led by Mr. Jia Guodong, Director General of Special Equipment Safety Supervision Bureau (SESA), AQSIQ, leaders led by Mr. Lin Shuqing, President of CSEI, and principal of China Promotion Association for Special Equipment Safety and Energy Saving (CPASE) attended the seminar. The concerned persons from SESA of AQSIQ, Special Equipment Licensing Office (SELO) of AQSIQ, Special Equipment Accident Investigation and Processing Center of AQSIQ, General Office of CSEI, Technical & Regulation Department, Policy and Legal Affairs Office also joined the meeting.

Staff from Technical & Regulation Department of CSEI reported the general situation of development and revision on special equipment safety technical regulations. Representatives from SESA, CPASE, and CSEI respectively reported the implementation condition of top-level design proposal for special equipment safety technical regulations. The attendees conducted a deep discussion on special equipment safety supervision, regulation and standard system construction, top-level design proposal implementation, etc..

Mr. Jia Guodong gave a conclusion speech and indicated that the involved persons shall not forget the original will of special equipment safety supervision work, pay high attention to regulation system construction work for special equipment, and firmly implement the top-level design proposal of special equipment safety supervision revolution.
