In the afternoon of Jun. 26th, a six people delegation lead by the executive director of ASME Mr. Thomas G. Loughlin visited CSEI. President Lin Shuqing and vice president Shen Gongtian of CSEI hosted the delegation. The chief researcher Shou Binan and the deputy secretary-general of China Association of Special Equipment Inspection Pei Yong joined the meeting. The two sides exchanged for further development of in-depth win-win cooperation and discussed the topics such as standards, certification, china international working group of ASME, training of non-destructive examination etc. At last, both sides discussed on the arrangement and schedule of renewing the CSEI/ASME/NBBI memorandum of understanding. ASME and CSEI has friendly cooperation for almost 30 years, this visit will effectively promote the next cooperation and communication for both sides.
