On June 1, 2017, Ministry of Science and Technology disclosed project arrangement for the special project “Generic Technology Research & Application of National Quality Infrastructure” (hereinafter referred as NQI Project) of 2017 National Key R & D Program Project. CSEI’s four projects were approved.

The four approved projects are “Key technology research on energy efficiency testing and evaluation of high energy-consuming special equipment” charged by deputy chief engineer Guan Jian, “Key technology research and instrument development on electromagnetic nondestructive testing and evaluation for material damage” charged by Dr. Chen Jinzhong from pressure pipeline division, “Technology research on in-service new energy key equipment inspection, supervision and evaluation” charged by Dr. Hu Bin from nondestructive technology center, and “Important technical standard research on in-service special equipment utilization and management”  charged by Dr. Shao Shanshan from pressure vessel division.

The carrying out of NQI Project will greatly enhance CSEI’s scientific research and innovation ability in test & inspection technology, speed up CSEI’s scientific research team construction and the transformation process of scientific & technological achievement.
