An eight-person delegation of IMM visited CSEI on May 22nd. Mr. Karim, council member of IMM and chairman of Vibration Sub-committee led this delegation. Accompanied by staffs from Non-destructive Testing Technology Center of CSEI and Secretariat of China Association of Special Equipment Inspection, Mr. Lin Shuqing, President of CSEI, received the IMM delegation.

In the meeting, representative from CSEI introduced the training, examination and certification of non-destructive testing personnel in China. And representative from IMM introduced that IMM has been qualified according to ISO18436 and has the ability to provide training and testing of vibration inspection and issue relating certifications. Then the two sides communicated about the vibration inspection in depth and agreed to communicate constantly in the future to reach a win-win cooperation.

Institute of Materials, Malaysia (IMM) which established in 1987 is a non-profit professional society in Malaysia. It focuses on the research of material science, technology and engineering, as well as the training and development for related professional individuals. It has more than 6,800 members, including engineers, academicians, technicians and other professionals. The IMM council consists of 30 members and it has 18 material sub-committees and 5 regional chapters.
