In order to implement the 7th round Sino-US strategic and economic dialogue——Industrial boiler cooperation project, relevant technologist from Energy-Saving Technology Center of CSEI, Dr. Glenn T. Cunningham from United States Department of Energy and Ms. Lu Hongyou, the senior researcher of the American Berkeley laboratory, completed the diagnosis and evaluation on Siming Chemical Industry & Zhetie Chemical Industry Energy Micro-grid System in Petrochemical Industrial Park of Ningbo from 11th to 15th of July.

After diagnosis and evaluation, all experts of Sino-US industrial boiler cooperation project held an evaluation summary meeting to discuss the steam system and cogeneration of Siming Chemical Industry & Zhetie Chemical Industry in Petrochemical Industrial Park. Mr.Guan Jian, deputy chief engineer of CSEI, and Mr.Wang Guangxu, chief economist of Ningbo Development and Reform Commission (NDRC), attended the conference. During the meeting, all experts discussed the details of the development plan of energy-saving reconstruction in Dr. Glenn T. Cunningham’s report, providing the foundation for the establishment of Siming Chemical Industry & Zhetie Chemical Industry Energy Micro-grid System.

The diagnosis and evaluation jointly completed by Sino-US experts, promoted the Sino-US industrial boiler cooperation project to advance a big step, giving NDRC more confidence to believe that this project will go on fluently. Indeed, it also provides demonstration for the construction of rational utilization of energy in Ningbo petrochemical industry park in the future.
