Recently, the national standard Offline Verification and Evaluation for Safety Valve with High Pressure and Super-high Pressure drafted by Nanjing boiler and pressure vessel inspection and research institute was officially approved and issued, which would come into force as of July 1st, 2016. This achievement filled the gap in the field of verification standard for high pressure and super-high pressure safety valve of China.
Previously, the domestic inspection standard was only applicable for the safety valve used in steam boilers with set pressure of 0.1MPa～42MPa, pressure vessels and pipelines, and there was no verification ways for super-high safety valve. The issuing of Offline Verification and Evaluation for Safety Valve with High Pressure and Super-high Pressure broke the monopoly of foreign technology, which was an important breakthrough in the field of inspection on high pressure and super-high pressure safety valve.
