Jeffrey Henry, Chairman of ASME BPVC Code Vol.ⅡCommittee visited CSEI on invitation. Lin Shuqing, President of CSEI and Shou Binan, Vice President and Chief Engineer met with Jeffrey Henry. The two sides held friendly and in-depth view exchanges, and achieved a consensus on the further cooperation.
Jeffrey Henry is a famous expert on material evaluation and failure analysis in the USA and especially had great attainments on boiler material studies. President Lin invited Henry as the senior adviser of CSEI and issued a letter of appointment. Jeffrey Henry presented a report on A Brief History of Grade 91 & The Creep Strength Enhanced Ferritic Steels. He also visited temporary labs of CSEI in Shunyi District and had a further academic exchange with technology researchers of CSEI.
This visit strengthened contacts between CSEI and ASME BPVC and made a strong step for making a world-class research and development platform and carrying out extensive international cooperation in CSEI. (Resource from R & D Center)
