Global environment facility project of promotion on equipment efficiency of industrial heating systems and energy-consuming, submitted by SESA of AQSIQ, was approved by GEF council recently. In the runtime of 4 years, 6 million dollars will be granted by GEF for establishing and revising energy-conserving regulations and standards of high energy-consuming special equipments, enhancing of energy-conserving test laboratory, personnel training and constructing demonstration pilot project of energy conservation.
The project will be carried out with effects of upgrading our energy conservation supervision ability and raising the operation and manufacture level of energy-consuming special equipments, and strengthening the consciousness of energy conservation. It will have great significance in promoting energy conservation and emissions reduction of high energy-consuming special equipments in our country. Targets of energy conservation and emissions reduction in the 12th Five-Year Plan will be accelerated to realization. Meanwhile, advanced experience achieved in this project will be popularized in developing countries to expand the influence.
