In order to make the overseas manufacturers to better understand and master China special equipment safety technical codes, rationally and accurately compile their quality manuals applied to China manufacture licensing, the International Division of CSEI recently translated Basic Requirements for Special Equipment Quality Assurance System on Manufacture, Installation, Alteration and Repair (TSG Z0004-2007).
For making the translation more professional and accurate, and convenient for the foreigners’ reading and understanding, the International Division of CSEI organized a translation seminar on May 16, 2013. Mr. Chris R. Lanzit, who is former U.S. embassy official in China and now senior consultant of American Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspector Association, was invited to discuss together. He gave many valuable suggestions and had a discussion with the related persons for the usage of some terminology, words and short sentences. This seminar has promoting effect in standardizing the translation of TSG Z0004-2007 and improving the translation level of the persons of International Division, CSEI.
