On July 16, the inaugural meeting of Refining and Chemical Equipment Management Professional Committee (hereinafter referred to as Professional Committee) of China Petroleum and Petrochemical Equipment Industry Association (hereinafter referred to as CPEIA) was held in Shenyang. CSEI was elected as a council member of the Professional Committee and will undertake the work of the Secretariat.

President of CSEI Liu Sanjiang attended the meeting and delivered a speech. He congratulated the establishment of the Professional Committee and showed expectation for it. He also said that CSEI will fully support the work of the Professional Committee and serve the development of the refining and chemical industry. By making full use of our advantages in large-scale apparatus long-term operation safety security technique, advanced nondestructive testing technology and equipment suitability evaluation technology, CSEI will provide high-quality technical services for the refining and chemical enterprises and contribute to the high-quality development of the refining and chemical industry.

The Refining and Chemical Equipment Management Professional Committee is a secondary branch of CPEIA. It was initiated by 47 units such as Petro China, Sinopec, CNOOC, China Energy and Sinochem Holdings. With the purpose of "collaborative progress and innovative leading", it aims to provide a platform of exchange, cooperation and innovation for the refining and chemical enterprises, engineering companies, equipment manufacturing enterprises, colleges & universities, and scientific research institutes, etc., and help to improve the management level of refining and chemical equipments in China.
