The Division of International Cooperation, CSEI organized and completed the remote survey for the first overseas manufacturer of pressure pipeline parts (metal valve) in January 2021. The smooth implementation of the survey has taken a crucial step in promoting the manufacturer licensing of imported pressure pipeline parts.

Currently, the Novel Corona-virus epidemic continues to spread all over the world, which has severely affected CSEI’s overseas special equipment manufacture survey and assessment work. With the support of regulatory authorities, the Division of International Cooperation proactively formulated the implementation plan and orderly carried out the remote survey for overseas eligible manufacturers.

In 2019, the State Administration for Market Regulation (SAMR) issued the “SAMR Announcement on Administrative Licensing of Special Equipment” (No. 3 of 2019), which took the imported pressure pipeline parts (pressure pipeline pipes, pressure pipeline valves) into the manufacturer licensing scope, regulating and strengthening the safety supervision of imported pressure pipeline parts. It is the first time for CSEI to carry out the remote survey for overseas manufacturers of pressure pipeline parts (metal valves), which has not only broken the work dilemma of overseas manufacturers, but also provided reference experience for CSEI to conduct relevant survey according to the situation. The remote survey has played a positive role in serving special equipment supervision and ensuring economic and social stability.
