Recently, dissemination meeting for GB 8408-2018 "Safety Regulations for Large-scale Amusement Facilities", GB/T 34370-2017 "Non-destructive Testing of Amusement Facilities" and other series of standards was held in Yinchuan, Ningxia province. Shen Gongtian, Vice-President of CSEI and Deputy Director of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Cableway and Amusement Facilities, and Chen Xudong, Chief Engineer of Ningxia Quality and Technical Supervision Bureau, attended the meeting. The meeting was hosted by Xing Youxin, Secretary General of National Technical Committee for Standardization of Cableway and Amusement Facilities.

GB 8408-2018 "Safety Regulations for Large-scale Amusement Facilities" has been studied and discussed by many special technical conferences, and has been highly valued by the National Standardization Administration Committee and the Special Equipment Bureau Safety Supervision of AQSIQ. Compared with the 2008 version of the standard, the 2018 version of this standard is richer in content and more scientific. It reflects the continuous improvement of the technical level of China"s amusement facilities industry and has practical guiding significance for the development of industry technology.

Participants discussed and exchanged on GB 8408-2018 "Safety Regulations for Large-scale Amusement Facilities", and many experts from the drafting group attended the symposium. The personnel participating in the publicity conference also include the supervisors of the special equipment supervision agencies of the provinces (cities), the technicians of the special equipment inspection and testing institutions, the technicians, inspectors and sales personnel of the amusement facilities manufacturing enterprises; the units of the amusement facilities. There are more than 300 people attended the meeting.
