In December 2017, Dr. Liu Yanan of Structural Research and Evaluation Center of CSEI, as the first and corresponding author, published a paper titled “A new coupling technique for the combination of wavelet-Galerkin method with finite element method in solids and structures”on International Journal for Numerical Methods in Engineering.

Professor Liu Yinghua from Tsinghua University and researcher Ding Keqin of Department of Structural Health Monitoring, Diagnosis and Management of CSEI are co-authors of the thesis. CSEI is the first completion organization of the thesis.

This paper is an important and original achievement made by CSEI in the field of engineering numerical methods. The continuous research and application of this result will provide us more powerful scientific methods and technical guarantee for the complex structure analysis and safety evaluation of special equipments.
